Google Search to Give More Importance to Authorship Markup

Google as you all know appreciates great content that add value to the readers, and they would want to give more recognition to the authors who produce such stuff. They have has now started supporting the authorship markup feature, which would connect the contents to the authors over the net.

This is taking one step ahead, where the search engines rankings could also consider the author’s name, based on the content quality.  In order to demonstrate the ease of using this markup, they have already shown these features on websites like The Washington Post, The New Yorker, CNET and many other popular websites.
